The short version

The game collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What the game saves stays on your device: in your browser in the web version, and in the app's own data folder in the desktop app.

What the game stores, and where

The game keeps these in its own storage (local storage, session storage and IndexedDB) on the device you play on. In the web version that is your browser's storage. In the desktop app it is the app's own data folder:

None of it is sent anywhere. Nobody else can see it, including us. To delete it, clear this site's data in your browser's settings, or, in the desktop app, delete the app's data folder. A private window keeps nothing after it closes.

What reaches other services

In the web version, your browser downloads the game's files from the site that hosts it: swarmfront.io, served by Cloudflare Pages (swarmfront.online forwards there). Like any website host, it may keep standard server logs (such as your IP address, your browser and the time) under its own privacy policy. The desktop app has the game's files inside it and downloads none.

Everything the game needs, its code, its 3D engine (three.js) and its fonts included, comes from that same host: the game loads nothing from any other site, so no font service or code network sees your visit.

The game sends nothing about how you play to anyone. The only exception is the optional online helpers below, and they stay off until you add your own key.

Optional online helpers (your own keys)

The game works fully offline. If you choose, you can paste your own API key for the Claude API (Anthropic) or for xAI in Options. The game then sends data straight from your device to that company, and only while you use the feature.

We do not receive this data. We do not see your keys. No other company gets it from the game.

The keys stay on your device. The desktop app keeps them in the system keychain. The web version keeps them in your browser's storage. To remove a key, press "Remove key" in Options. In the web version, clearing this site's data also removes it. The game never writes a key or a recording to a log, a saved game or a replay. It keeps a recording in memory only for the length of one request.

Anthropic and xAI handle the data under their own terms and privacy policies. Read them before you add a key. You pay them directly, so set a spend limit in your account there. The game limits how much it spends with your key in one match, but this limit is a safety net and not a guarantee.

Children

The game collects no personal data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If the game ever adds something that collects data (for example online play or optional crash reports), this notice will say so before it happens, and anything optional will be off until you turn it on. The online helpers above follow this rule: they are off until you add a key.
